Franz Schubert (January 31, 1797 - November 19, 1828) was an Austrian composer and musician.
In 2001, a customer inquired in Black Books if a copy of Schubert's biography was available, much to Bernard Black's annoyance. However, this customer was accidently locked in the shop and was seen two weeks later, clutching the book after finally finding it.
