Regression is a 2001 science fiction/thriller film starring Richard Gere. Gere plays a character who has to commit suicide to go back in time to save himself as a child. The film was shown in cinemas in the Bloomsbury area on August 11, 2001. When it was suggested by Manny Bianco that they should go and see the film, Bernard Black and Fran Katzenjammer immediately refused.
- Regression is a defense mechanism leading to the temporary reversion of the ego to an earlier stage of childhood development rather than handling impulses in a more adult way.
